Canadian Big Band Celebration - Saugeen Shores Ontario Canada

Canadian Big Band

The CANADIAN BIG BAND membership includes many of the finest jazz and big band instrumentalists in Canada, including some members from the former Boss Brass. With a wide range of experience, these musicians have performed with the world's best, including such notable talents as Michael Buble, Duke Ellington, Emilie-Claire Barlow, Tony Bennett and Diana Krall.

This year the Canadian Big Band will be featuring returning guest vocalists Rebecca Binnendyk and Ethan Salmon.  Both of these amazing vocalists grew up in Saugeen Shores studying with Jeanette Steeves, a lauded vocal instructor and choir director from Saugeen Shores.  Rebecca has just released a professionally produced Cd to much acclaim, including a national CBC broadcast on Michael Enright's
"The Sunday Edition" radio show.  Ethan Salmon is an award winning 18 year old crooner.  The two will will be performing many big band classics including a few sultry duets.
