Saturday Afternoon Program - CAW Main Assembly Hall -$5

1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

LOCAL ARTS AND HERITAGE:  Celebrating the Lake Huron Dance Hall Pavilions will include local artists displaying their works of art at the The Big Event in the lobby of the CAW Main Assembly Hall Lobby.   See the Cedar Crescent Casino Dance Pavilion, the Southampton Breakers Annex Dance Pavilion and the Sauble Beach Dance Pavilion as they existed from 1920-1960s with scenes that capture "summer life" at the dance hall.

The BIG EVENT Saturday Afternoon Show

...launches the dance repertoire of the 50’s and 60’s performed by The Lulu’s Band (photo) with the Men in Black brass line.   One of the the top 50's-60's dance bands in Ontario.  Dance to the songs of Bill Haley, Elvis, Del Shannon, Smoky Robinson, Chicago, James Brown, The Beach Boys and of course The Beatles.  Enjoy dancing to this very popular Ontario band with family and friends at the BIG EVENT Saturday Afternoon Show. 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.  Admission is $5

7:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

The Big Event Saturday Evening Show

...launches the introduction of the Canadian Big Band Celebration’s CANADIAN BIG BAND.  A new professional big band  whose membership includes many of Canada’s top big band and jazz musicians, click here to meet the band.  This exciting new band will be performing the Big Band Dance repertoire of the 30’s - 40’s for the Saturday Evening Show!  7:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.  Admission is $30 . 

Dinner & Dance Option

All new this year is a Dinner & Dance option.   Enjoy a “classy” buffet with light dinner jazz and linens in the CAW Dining Room, menu includes a Prime Rib and/or Fish Dinner with all the trimmings, prepared by CAW’s Executive Chef, Paul Johnson.  Then, dance to the swing music of the 30’s and 40’s with the  amazing CANADIAN BIG BAND and featured vocalists Rebecca Binnendyk and Tim Louis.  Admission for Dinner and Dance is $50. Dinner 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. (Limited tickets for Dinner Dance option)
